Any thoughts on the upcoming Star Wars sequel trilogy?

I adore the original trilogy but I’m not a fan of the prequels.

I also enjoyed Genndy Tartakovsky’s animated Star Wars: Clone Wars from 2003 (It was freakin’ sweet!)

Anyways…What do you guys think of the expansion of the movie universe?

The only reason I could stand Episode 1 was because of Liam Neeson. >> It felt as if he was the only one acting in that movie.

But I’m excited for the next three installments for the series! Maybe it’s because I got to peek at a part of the script whenever they were doing open casting calls for characters, but I’m waiting for it with high hopes and expectations. Also we’ll probably get to see more light saber designs that were in the books/comics and aren’t just new, such as the one they showed us in the trailer!

I liked Ep. 1 because of Darth Maul (I love his character design)

Like you, I am pretty hopeful that these new franchise installments are going to be a welcome addition to the Star Wars mythos.
